Police investigating armed robbery in Cambridge

Waterloo Regional Police are looking for two men following a robbery early Monday morning in Cambridge.

Police say it went down around 1:30 a.m. at a motel located on Hespeler Road.

Two men demanded cash from an employee and one of those men was armed with a handgun.

They were given an undisclosed amount of cash before fleeing the area. 

The employee was not hurt.

At this point, police have not released any suspect descriptions.

Anyone who has information about the robbery is asked to call police at 519-570-9777 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
