Police investigating after suspicious woman approached 10-year-old boy

Regional police are investigating after a suspicious woman approached a 10-year-old boy in Kitchener.
On Friday around 8:15 a.m., a 10-year-old was approached by a woman while walking in the area of Overlea Drive and Overlea Court.
According to police, the woman was persistent in trying to talk to the boy before leaving the area on foot.
The woman is described as white, 50-60 years old, and was wearing a black and white shirt, turquoise pants, blue and pink shoes, a black hooded sweater and a black ball cap.
There were no physical injuries sustained.
The investigation is ongoing, and police ask anyone with information to contact them or Crime Stoppers.
