Police investigating after firearm discharged in Kitchener

Police are looking to gather more information after a firearm was discharged in Kitchener.

Officers originally responded to a collision by the dead-end on Avalon Place, just before 5 a.m. Saturday.

Shortly after, police received reports that a gunshot was heard in the area. When officers arrived they located a male. He did not suffer any injuries.

Police also found evidence that a firearm had been discharged.
