Police investigate attempted robbery in Kitchener

Waterloo Regional Police continue to investigate following an attempted person-on-person robbery in Kitchener. 

It was on Saturday around 11:20 p.m. when police responded to the area of Ottawa Street South and Fischer-Hallman Road – as a woman reported two unknown men had attempted to steal her vehicle while brandishing knives. 

The victim, a 39-year-old woman, did not sustain any physical injuries as a result of the interaction 

That victim described the first male as Black with a heavy build. The other involved suspect was described as a white male with a thin build. 

Anyone with information that could assist police in their investigation is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
