Police find suspected purple fentanyl and meth during drug bust in Cambridge

On Thursday, June 13, 2019, members of the Waterloo Regional Police Service's South Drugs and Firearms team conducted a drug investigation at a residence on Fountain Street in Cambridge. 

As a result of the investigation, a 59-year-old Cambridge male was arrested. 

Police seized 18.95 grams of suspected purple fentanyl, methamphetamine and more than $1300 cash. 

The male has been charged with possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, possession of a substance in Schedule 1, and five counts of breach recognizance.
