Police continue to investigate motorcycle crash in Kitchener

Regional police continue to investigate a serious collision that closed a portion of Highland Road West in Kitchener for several hours on Saturday. 

According to police, emergency services responded to the intersection of Highland Road West and Patricia Avenue around 9:27 a.m. for a collision involving a red Kawasaki motorcycle and a white Nissan sedan. 

It's alleged that motorcycle struck the back of the sedan, resulting in the motorcycle rider being ejected from their vehicle and sustaining serious injuries.

That rider was transported to an out-of-region hospital. 

Police are now appealing for witnesses to contact their Traffic Services Unit or Crime Stoppers.
