Pedestrian struck by vehicle, Waterloo man under investigation

A Waterloo man is being investigated after a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in Brampton.
Peel Regional Police say the alleged incident took place on Saturday, February 15 at 10:30 p.m. on Bovaird Drive and Brisdale Drive.
A 54-year-old Brampton man was taken to hospital and succumbed to his injuries early Sunday morning.
A 74-year-old man from Waterloo was allegedly behind the wheel of the vehicle involved and remained at the scene.
Peel Regional Police say the suspect did not show signs of impairment.
Currently, no charges have been laid.
The Major Collision Bureau has taken over the investigation.
