Over $360K in chocolate stolen from compound in Wilmot

Waterloo Regional Police are investigating an odd theft.

Two tractor-trailers loaded with Ferrero chocolates were stolen from a fenced compound in Wilmot Township.

The estimated value of the chocolate is $363,000.

Police believe the break and enter happened between 12 a.m. and 5 a.m., on December 24.

The compound is located in the area of Gingerich Road and Foundry Street.
