One person transported to hospital after Kitchener crash

Regional police responded to a two-vehicle collision in Kitchener Tuesday morning.

It happened in the Queen Street North and Weber Street East area around 10:15 a.m.

The driver of an SUV, an 83-year-old Waterloo man, was heading southbound on Queen at the time. Police said he then collided with another vehicle, a Volkswagon, which was travelling eastbound on Weber.

A 21-year-old Kitchener woman was the driver of the Volkswagon and was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The Waterloo man reported no physical injuries, according to police.

This includes anyone who may have captured dash cam footage of the collision.
