One dead after small plane crash near Brantford (update)

An investigation will begin Tuesday morning after a deadly plane crash in Brant County.
Provincial police said it happened Monday night on a piece of private property east of the Brantford airport.
The lone occupant of the single-engine airplane was taken to hospital and pronounced dead. He has been identified as 57-year-old John Bacon of Hamilton.
The Transportation Safety Board of Canada is investigating the cause of the plane crash.
