New Hamburg driver charged with failing to remain at scene of crash

It happened just outside of Shakespeare Monday morning

A 19-year-old from New Hamburg has been charged, after a crash just outside of the Shakespeare area.

Perth County OPP responded to the collision just after 6:30 a.m. Monday, September 19 on Road 110 in the Township of Perth East.

According to the police report, a driver allegedly swerved to avoid hitting an animal, lost control, and rolled the vehicle.

They then left the scene.

The accused has been charged with failing to remain at the scene of a collision.
