Four youths arrested in connection to Elmira disturbance (update)

Four youths have been arrested in connection to an incident that took place on September 28, 2022, in Elmira.

Between September 30 and October 7, four youths from Woolwich Township were jointly charged with robbery.

Police previously stated there were three fights involving the same youths at separate locations on Wednesday night.

The first incident was at 7 p.m. A youth was approached in the area of First Street West and Arthur Street South. He was then allegedly assaulted by a group of youths. He suffered minor injuries.

Shortly after, another group of youths approached two female youths in the area of First Street West and Flamingo Drive. The victims were sprayed with a noxious substance. Both were treated at the scene by paramedics.

The third incident occurred around 9 p.m. According to police, a group of youths approached a residence on Flamingo Drive. They fled after they were confronted by adults.
