Man hit with weapon during Kitchener robbery

On Sunday, July 14, 2019, at approximately 10:30 a.m., Waterloo Regional Police responded to a report of a robbery in the area of Highland Road West and Westmount Road in Kitchener. 

The victim, a 51-year-old male, was struck by a blunt weapon and had an undisclosed amount of cash stolen from him. 

The two suspects then fled the area. 

The victim was transported to hospital with minor injuries. 

The investigation is ongoing, and police believe this to be a targeted incident.
