Man facing impaired driving charges after Baden area crash

Regional Police have charged a 67-year-old man with impaired driving after a crash in Wilmot Township. 

Officers were called to the Mill Street and Charles Street area of Baden at around 4 p.m. Wednesday, after reports a vehicle had crashed into two parked cars. 

The driver had to be taken to an out of region hospital to treat his injuries. 

The Wilmot Township man is now facing several charges, including impaired driving, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, and also possession of suspected morphine. 

Police say their investigation into this crash continues and are asking any witnesses or anyone with dash cam footage to come forward.
