Man arrested in connection with break and enter in Waterloo

Waterloo Regional Police have made an arrest in connection with a break and enter on Cedarbrae Avenue in Waterloo earlier this month.

Around 2:30 a.m. on June 12, several suspects broke into a home and attempted to beat up a man.

The victim was not hurt and the suspects fled in a vehicle.

This past Saturday, police made one arrest.

Police also seized a 12,000 volt conducted energy weapon, a switch-blade, suspected fentanyl and suspected methamphetamine, plus $1,000 in cash.

A Kitchener man, 33, is facing numerous charges including break and enter, as well as assault with a weapon and drug offences.

No name has been released.
