Kitchener youth arrested and charged after altercation breaks out at school

A Kitchener youth has been arrested and charged after a physical altercation took place at a school on Tuesday, leaving another youth with serious injuries. 

On June 21, regional police received a report of a physical altercation that took place at a school in the area of Ottawa Street North and Midland Drive in Kitchener. The altercation between the two youths broke out just before 1 p.m., and the victim was taken to hospital. 

A Kitchener youth has since been charged with causing bodily harm. 

Anyone who witnessed the incident or has information is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
