By Blair Adams

A Kitchener resident will have a future court date in Woodstock.

It follows a traffic stop by Ontario Provincial Police on Wilmot Street in the Drumbo area on Monday afternoon.

An officer patrolling the street noticed a vehicle travelling at a high rate of speed.

OPP allege the vehicle was going 50 km/h over the speed limit.

A 32-year-old has been charged with stunt driving.

OPP are reminding motorists that the minimum fine if convicted is $2,000.

It will also result in an automatic driver's licence suspension for seven days, plus their vehicle being impounded for the same amount of time.
