A 35-year-old Kitchener man was taken to hospital with serious injuries after a single-vehicle crash in that city.
Waterloo Regional Police say it happened around 7 p.m. on Tuesday.
A vehicle was reportedly travelling down Margaret Avenue when it blew past the Otto and Queen intersection, and accelerated into a median.
The vehicle then struck a sign and tree.
The driver was found unconscious, and police believe the collision was due to a medical event – although the investigation is ongoing.
As of 4 p.m. on Wednesday, police confirmed the driver remains in hospital in serious condition.
