Kitchener man found deceased in 'severely damaged' truck lodged in wooded area near Guelph

Wellington County OPP have now identified a Kitchener man as the victim of a single vehicle collision, west of Guelph.

The deceased has been identified as 47-year-old David Frank Douglas Watters.

Watters was found in a severely damaged Ford pickup truck, lodged in a wooded area, in the area of Woolwich-Guelph Town Line and Lerch Road on Monday afternoon.

The truck was spotted by someone passing through the area.

Police say their investigation is ongoing and anyone who may have witnessed the crash is asked to call them at 1-888-310-1122.
