A Kitchener man is facing several charges following a break and enter at a business on Weber Street North in Woolwich Township.

Police received the original alarm call on Monday evening.

They say someone broke into the rear fenced compound of the business and attempted to steal property.

The suspect was interrupted by the sound of the alarm, and fled prior to officers arriving.

Police allege the suspect returned to the property around 3 a.m., and began loading property into a vehicle.

A 39-year-old man has been charged with break, enter and commit, as well as possession of stolen property under $5,000.

The property was also recovered.
