A 56-year-old Cambridge man has been transported to hospital with serious, non-life-threatening injuries after being struck by a pickup truck in Cambridge.

According to police, that collision occurred on Saturday evening around 11:05 p.m. in the area of Hespeler Road and Sheldon Drive.

Through their investigation, police determined that a pickup truck was heading northbound on Hespeler when it struck that 56-year-old man while he was crossing the road.

The driver of that involved pickup, a 54-year-old woman from Cambridge, did not sustain any physical injuries.
