The Waterloo Regional Police Service (WRPS) is welcoming a new, four-legged member.
Police announced on Wednesday that a new recruit is set to join its Canine Unit, but first, he needs a name.
"Please help us choose one that reflects the vibrant Waterloo Region we all call home," read a post on social media.
Community members can post their suggestions for the police service dog's name on WRPS' Twitter or Facebook page, and a winner will be announced later this week.
This newest member will join police service dogs Ranger, Tracker, and Grim in our Canine Unit, but he needs a name!
