Hate-motivated graffiti found in Waterloo, investigation underway: WRPS

Graffiti was found in Waterloo on Wednesday afternoon, which, according to police, included a hate-motivated symbol.

It was found in the King Street North and Northfield Drive East area of the city.

When officers arrived on scene around 12:50 p.m., they found the symbol, writing, as well as an "inappropriate image" drawn on the wall.

The investigation is ongoing, and police ask anyone with information to contact them at 519-570-9777 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
