Dump truck hits hydro pole in Cambridge (update)

Charges are pending after a single-vehicle collision in Cambridge that knocked out power to customers in the Preston area of the city.

Police said around 8:05 a.m. on Tuesday, officers were called to the Boxwood Drive and Cherry Blossom Road area after a dump truck knocked over a concrete hydro pole.

No one was hurt.

Roads were closed in the area for the investigation, but have since reopened. Hydro crews also attended the scene to replace the pole.
