Charges are pending following a collision in Kitchener in which a cyclist was injured.
It happened around 5:30 p.m. Monday at the Ottawa Street South and Homer Watson Boulevard roundabout.
According to police, the driver of a vehicle was heading north on Ottawa, and allegedly struck a cyclist that was riding west through the crosswalk.
The cyclist, a 52-year-old Kitchener man, was transported to hospital with serious injuries.
A 30-year-old Kitchener man, the alleged driver, was not hurt.
Roads were closed in the area for several hours for the investigation.
