Break and enter suspects caught in the act

On April 16, 2019, at approximately 12:00 p.m., members of Waterloo Regional Police Service’s North CORE (Community Oriented Response Enforcement) team responded to a break and enter in progress at a residence on Laurel Street in Waterloo. 

Upon police arrival, two individuals were located. 

As a result of the investigation, a 25-year-old female from Kitchener, and an 18-year-old male from Toronto were arrested and charged with various criminal offences, including break and enter, possession of prohibited weapons, and possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking. 

Police seized quantities of suspected purple fentanyl and cocaine. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 519-570-9777 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
