An arrest has been made following a weapons call in Kitchener.
The incident happened just before 11 p.m. Sunday, in the area of Ralgreen Crescent and Overlea Drive.
The victim told police they were driving on Ralgreen when they were approached by another vehicle. The driver then allegedly pointed a handgun at the victim then left the area.
A traffic stop was later conducted when officers located the suspect vehicle near Westmount Road and Queen’s Boulevard.
Police seized a loaded firearm and ammunition, as well as suspected cocaine.
A 27-year-old Kitchener man is facing a long list of charges including unauthorized possession of a firearm, unsafe storage of a firearm, possession of stolen property under $5,000 and possession for the purpose of trafficking.
No one was injured.
