Arrest made after break and enter at Waterloo retirement home

An arrest has been made in connection with a break and enter at a retirement home in Waterloo.

Police released several photos, as well as a description of the suspect last week.

On December 1, a 33-year-old Waterloo man was taken into custody. The accused faces two counts of break and enter – commit theft.

The incident happened around 5:30 a.m. on November 11.

A suspect gained entry into a unit, located in the area of Laurelwood Drive and Bearinger Road, and stole personal items.

Items were also taken from an external main building vestibule.
