Waterloo’s Kraemer scores pair in Canada’s victory over U.S.

Caitlin Kraemer is having a time at the IIHF U18 Women's World Championship in Sweden.

The Waterloo product scored twice in Canada's 3-1 victory over the United States on Wednesday. It was a dominant performance by the Canadians, who edged the U.S. 38-12 in shots.

Canada will now play Finland in Saturday's semi-final. 

Kraemer, who has seven points in three games, is tied for the tournament lead with six goals.

Kitchener's Ava Murphy is also on the Canadian squad.
