Rangers to welcome new Canadians at game on New Year’s Day

It will be a special day for 38 new Canadians.

There will be a citizenship ceremony prior to Kitchener's home game against the Petes on Tuesday afternoon.

The ceremony will start at 12:30 p.m.

The new citizens will also take to centre-ice right before the game starts to help sing 'O Canada' and then stay to watch the action.

Tuesday's game begins at 2 p.m. The pre-game show starts at 1:30 on 570 NEWS.
