Rangers complete trade with IceDogs

The Kitchener Rangers have announced a trade with the Niagara IceDogs. 

Kitchener is trading forward Andrew LeBlanc and defenceman Jacob LeBlanc.

In return, Kitchener receives four draft picks in upcoming OHL priority selections. 

You can see the list below.

  • London's second-round pick in the 2024 OHL Priority Selection
  • London's third-round pick in the 2025 OHL Priority Selection
  • Mississauga's third-round pick in the 2026 OHL Priority Selection 
  • London's fifth-round pick in the 2023 OHL Priority Selection

Kitchener Rangers General Manager Mike McKenzie said in a release, "Unfortunately, with so many returning players on our roster, there are good players that won't get as much opportunity as they deserve. We hope that Andrew and Jacob can play a big role with their new team and have a very successful and enjoyable second half of their OHL career."
