The Kitchener Rangers have added a veteran on their blueline.

The Rangers made a trade Thursday with Owen Sound for Waterloo native Chase Campbell.

Owen Sound gets a conditional tenth round pick in the 2020 OHL draft.

Campbell is entering his fifth and final year in the league.

He put up 20 points in 57 games with the Attack last season.

"We believe his speed, energy and compete level will be a great fit with our team and style of play. We look forward to seeing him in a Rangers jersey this weekend." Rangers General Manager, Mike McKenzie said in a release.

The Rangers host Ottawa on Friday.
