The Hamilton Cardinals cruised to a 9-1 victory over the Kitchener Panthers at Jack Couch Park on Thursday evening.

Tyler Duncan and Ryan Burnside each homered and drove in three for the Cards. It was only Hamilton's 10th win of the season.

Kitchener’s lone run came on a fielder’s choice in the eighth that scored Blake Jacklin, who walked in the inning to go with an earlier hit.

Brett Reid took the loss. He allowed six runs on nine hits over six innings.

The loss means the Panthers are now 14 and 23 on the season.

Kitchener is set to host London at 2 p.m. on Sunday.
