Panthers hammer Cards at home

Six Kitchener Panthers' players hit home runs in a 21-12 victory over Hamilton at Jack Couch Park on Thursday.

Three of those homers came in Kitchener's 10-run first inning.

Eric Martin hit a two-run blast, finishing with four RBI. Keegan Marsden had a solo home run and Blake Jacklin added a two-run shot. 

Liam Wilson, Stephen Whalen and Tyler Hinrikus also got in on the home run action against the Cardinals.

Jacob Douglas (4-1) went six innings for the win, allowing six runs on seven hits over four innings. He struck out four.

The Panthers have now won two in a row.

Kitchener is scheduled to play the second-place Majors in London on Friday.
