Offensive lineman Bryce Bell and defensive linemen Alfred Green will get a chance to impress CFL teams later this week.

The Laurier Golden Hawks teammates have both been invited to the 2021 CFL Combine.

"We are extremely excited for both Alfred and Bryce that they have been invited to the CFL's National Combine. It has been a very strange year, but they have been extremely resilient and have worked very hard throughout." said Michael Faulds, head coach of the football team at Laurier.

"Last spring they had the unfortunate news that their East/West Bowl All-Star game was going to be cancelled, then the news of our 2020 OUA season being cancelled, so to finally be given some positive news is much needed. We are confident that they will be able to put up great combine testing numbers and that they will gain the interest of many CFL teams." Faulds added.

The CFL Combine will happen virtually from March 26 to March 28.

It's expected the draft will take place in early May, although no date has been set yet.
