Kitchener Rangers sweep home-and-home with Niagara

A well-rounded victory for the Kitchener Rangers Saturday night.

11 skaters got their name on the scoresheet in a 6-3 win over the Niagara IceDogs in Beamsville to wrap up their OHL preseason schedule.

Justin MacPherson led the way with a goal and two assists on the night.

Rickard Hugg, Eric Guest, Greg Meireles, Michael Vukojevic and Carter Tresoor all scored for the blueshirts.

Lucas Pfeil made 30 saves on the night for Kitchener.

The Rangers now look ahead to their season opener against the Flint Firebirds.

That goes this Friday, September 22 at The Aud at 7:30 p.m.
