Mike Davies and Jake Henderson will be returning to Waterloo Region.

The pair of former Kitchener Rangers were announced as 14 players recruited to play for the men's hockey team at Laurier this upcoming season.

It's actually the largest recruiting class that head coach Greg Puhalski has had during his nine years with the Golden Hawks.

"As a group, we believe our new recruits will add competitiveness and character to our group for the upcoming season," said Puhalski.

"There’s no doubt that they will have a positive impact on our team. They fit with our program needs and we are fortunate to have them join our team." he added.

The team will also include Kitchener's Alex Black. The blueliner played four seasons in the OHL with Sarnia and Peterborough.

Laurier opens training camp on September 4.
