Four players with local ties could be living the NHL dream this weekend

By Blair Adams

There is a good chance three players on the Kitchener Rangers will be drafted into the National Hockey League this weekend.

Defenceman Giovanni Vallati was ranked 57th among North American skaters in the final list put out by NHL Central Scouting back in April.

Centre Riley Damiani is number 100 on the list and centre Adam Liska is ranked 158th.

Former Waterloo Wolves player, Mitchell Hoelscher, who plays on the Ottawa 67's, comes in at 62.

In total, over 140 Canadian Hockey League players made the list.

Andrei Svechnikov of the Barrie Colts is ranked number one.

The draft takes place in Dallas on Friday and Saturday.
