Bobkats exact revenge, as Titans split weekend

By Mark Pare

A close battle to the end, but the KW Titans (5-5) couldn't pull out the win south of the border.

The Kokomo Bobkats beat the Titans 96-93 Sunday, enacting a measure of revenge after the Titans took down the Bobkats a week ago in Kitchener.

One of the things the Titans will look back on for this game will be the discrepancy in rebounding, with Kokomo outbrebounding KW 64-42, including 28-13 on the offensive side of things.

Individually, Eric Ferguson turned in an impressive performance before fouling out. He registered a game-high 27 points, and 13 rebounds to complete the double-double in 43 minutes on the floor.

Deven Harris came off the Kokomo bench and put up a team-high 24 points.

It comes after the Titans dropped 55 first-half points on the Express Friday, en route to a 104-84 win.

The trio of Ferguson, Chad Frazier and Joel Kindred came up big, combining for 73 points in that one.

The Express make the trip up the 401, seeking their own measure of revenge Friday night at 7 p.m., visiting the Titans at the Aud.
