By CityNews Kitchener Staff

The mayor and councillors in Waterloo will get to look over the city's 2023 draft budget at a meeting on Monday.

City staff identified four main goals including support for existing programs and services, as well as an operating funding to support new capital assets and growth.

The proposed city utility service rates will also be tabled Monday, with council expected to approve them that day.

A hybrid budget information session is scheduled for January 10, from 6:30 p.m. until 8 p.m., at the Waterloo Memorial Recreation Complex. Pre-registration is required by January 5.

Final approval of the budget will happen at a meeting on February 13.

More details are available on the city’s website, on the budget page.
