Frost advisory lifted for area (update)

Environment Canada issued a frost advisory for Waterloo Region on Friday morning.

The weather agency says temperatures will be near the freezing mark early this morning, especially in low lying areas.

It warns frost may damage frost-sensitive fruit trees and vegetable plants.

The temperature is expected to rise quickly after sunrise.

Friday's forecast calls for a mix of sun and cloud with a high of 15.
