Waterloo Busker Carnival starts tonight

It has become a sort of end of summer tradition in Uptown Waterloo.

The 30th annual Sun Life Financial Waterloo Busker Carnival starts Thursday evening and runs through until Sunday.

Opening ceremonies are set to being at 6:15 p.m.

Former Barenaked Ladies frontman, Steven Page will then take the Sherwood Stage for a free concert.

There will be ten busker acts as this year's festival.

The acts include Art$ Fortune, Canada, The Circus Firemen, Mental Floss Sideshow and the Stilt Guys.

There will also be a fireworks show near Waterloo City Hall at 10 p.m. on Saturday.
