A school bus route is being cancelled for two Kitchener schools this week.
The Waterloo Region District School Board announced the details on Wednesday.
School bus route 157 will be cancelled at both J F Carmichael Public School and Kitchener-Waterloo Collegiate and Vocational School on Thursday and Friday.
It's due to temporary staffing challenges related to illness.
A release from the board said, "We understand the impact this decision may have on our students and their families and caregivers. [Student Transportation Services of Waterloo Region] does this only as a last resort."
Impacted students can either learn remotely or families can arrange alternative transportation.
