Taxi driver assaulted, vehicle then stolen

Police are looking for four males after a taxi driver was allegedly assaulted in Kitchener.

It happened shortly after 2 a.m. on Friday in the area of St Leger Street and Guelph Street.

Police said the suspects then took off with his taxi and other personal property.

The vehicle was located a few blocks away.

The driver was taken to hospital where he was treated for minor injuries.
