A new development which will include 73 affordable homes is one step closer to becoming a reality in Waterloo Region.
It will be located on Kingscourt Drive in Waterloo and regional councillors have now signed off on the vendor.
It will be a six-storey development with the affordable component including everything from one to five bedroom units.
It's part of regional efforts to provide 600 new affordable units over the next decade.
