Regional Police kept busy with university party on Ezra Avenue

Police say about 600 people were partying on Ezra Avenue last night, no charges were laid

A busy night for Regional Police in the University district now that students are back in town.

Police from North Division say they busted a party on Ezra that had around 600 people. 

No charges were laid and the crowd disbanded as police arrived. 

First year students from Wilfrid Laurier and the University of Waterloo moved in over the week along with many returning students. 

Regional Police are once again taking part in "Project Safe Semester"  aimed to keep university students safe through the school year.
