Waterloo Regional Police are congratulating one of their members for their work in finding an intruder during a break-and-enter in Guelph.
Guelph police say the incident occurred on at a business on Governor's Road at 7:16 p.m. on Friday, December 27th.
Allegedly, the owner of the business called the police after he found a man in his fenced yard through video surveillance.
Guelph police say the Waterloo Regional Services K-9 Unit was then called to assist and PSD Ranger was brought onto the scene to investigate.
Afterwards, Ranger allegedly found a person hiding from police in an attempt to avoid arrest.
A 34-year-old Guelph man was arrested and charged with breaking-and-entering, as well as possession of break-in tools.
