The Region of Waterloo will be closing a portion of King Street North in Waterloo for urgent sanitary sewer repair.
That closure is expected to begin on Thursday, lasting until the end of the day on Friday.
According to the region, that closure will be in effect on King Street North from Central Street to Spring Street East.
Drivers heading southbound on King Street East are encouraged to detour by turning left onto University Avenue East, through to Weber Street North and onto Bridgeport Road East to reconnect to King Street North.
Northbound drivers are directed to turn right onto Erb Street West, left to Weber Street North and left once again through to University Avenue East.
