Police searching for vehicle after woman hit while walking through Kitchener crosswalk

Waterloo Regional Police are searching for a vehicle, after a pedestrian was hit in a crosswalk in Kitchener.

Police say on Friday around 6 p.m., a 38-year-old Kitchener woman was walking in the crosswalk at Block Line near Country Hill Drive when she was hit by a vehicle heading west.

The car drove away from the scene toward Strasburg Road.

Officers say the woman was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The vehicle reportedly involved is described as a silver or grey Toyota or Honda, and may have damage to the front driver side.
