Waterloo Regional Police have made an arrest in connection with last week's major street party and fire on Ezra Avenue.

It happened on Monday, September 2.

Police say furniture was set ablaze during the large, unsanctioned gathering.

No one was injured.

Police have now arrested a 17-year-old male in connection with the fire. He's been charged with one count of arson causing property damage, and one count of mischief under $5,000.

Police say their investigation is ongoing.
